A Priceless Gift
December 21, 2025

Emmanuel. God is with us. What a promise. Hope.

The prophets proclaimed the promise, Mary and Joseph lived it, now we get to participate in it.

Jesus is our rescue plan incarnate. Jesus was God’s answer to our sin in Genesis.

“And I will cause hostility between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring. He will strike your head, and you will strike his heel.”Genesis‬ ‭3‬:‭15‬

For every problem we face, Jesus has already made way for our answer. Our victory was already won.

The birth of Jesus hit the “GO” button to the greatest miracle of salvation. Without this hope of salvation, the despair would be so great. Is there a word to describe it? Could you imagine not having a Savior?

A great majority of the world does not, and they have no clue. Before I was saved, I didn’t. There was such a lack of a fear of God; the lies of the enemy deceived me. Thankfully there were people praying for me. Let’s pray this Christmas season for the veil to be lifted, and for the love of God to draw people to repentance.

“If we who are [abiding] in Christ have hoped only in this life [and this is all there is], then we are of all people most miserable and to be pitied.”1 Corinthians‬ ‭15‬:‭19‬ ‭

“For as the waters fill the sea, the earth will be filled with an awareness of the glory of the Lord.” Habakkuk‬ ‭2‬:‭14‬

Jesus is this glory revealed to us. When Jesus was born, He brought with Him a deeply rooted connection of Heaven and Earth. Jesus reveals our hearts. His blood purchased our freedom from every sin. There is nothing we can do to undo this truth, and we get the unfathomable blessing of walking it out.

“All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ. Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure. So we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear Son. He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. He has showered his kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding. God has now revealed to us his mysterious will regarding Christ—which is to fulfill his own good plan. And this is the plan: At the right time he will bring everything together under the authority of Christ—everything in heaven and on earth.”Ephesians‬ ‭1‬:‭3‬-‭10‬ ‭

It is difficult to rejoice in our Savior’s birth without looking to His sacrifice on the cross. Because of Jesus’ birth, He gives us a hope that never fails.

What he did for us is overwhelming and incomprehensible. To come for us, to be with us. What do we have to give to Him but all of our heart? His birth makes way for His defeat of sin and death forever.

We are given every spiritual blessing in Jesus. He is our blessing this Christmas. The eternal gift. Priceless.
